Maarten Botterman

Dare to be who I really am – no holding back: this is what I learned to appreciate. Since then I found that everything is really possible – unless I believe it is not. This is not only true for people, but also for organizations and societies at large. I look forward to working with you to  help you discover how it feels to work in an organization that builds its competitive edge on authenticity and healthy attitudes.

My goal is to support people in recognising and acting upon their true potential, even in difficult times,. It is great to be able to focus on what it is really about and making things happen, at the same time connecting people with themselves, each other and the organizations they work for. My expertise is policy analysis, executive coaching and (interim) management. I understand the impact the Internet and IT can have on the functioning of individuals, organizations and society. I have more than 20 years experience in working in multidisciplinary settings, serving multiple stakeholders, and inspiring teams and individuals, bringing their potential to the surface. I like to open new ways of thinking, outside the box and free from belief systems.

I have a master degree in Business Economics (1994, Erasmus University Rotterdam) and became a certified Conscious Coach in 2009. I am on of the founders and directors of CLC (2009), director on the Board of Public Interest Registry (PIR, 2008) and founder and director of the Global Network Knowledge Society (GNKS, 2006). My experience includes more than 10 years government service (European Commission, Dutch Government), and I have been working in international settings since 1995 (European Commission, RAND, IAAC, GNKS, PIR, CLC).
